Black knight basinet helmet with Detachable Visor

Are you looking for a versatile, FULLY FUNCTIONAL helmet for your next tournament or battle? Loosely based on 14th-century sources, this BATTLE READY visored Bascinet will make an excellent choice for such a purpose as its carefully designed visor ensures minimal vision loss and breathing hindrance.

Our interpretation is inspired freely by several different sources, including a 1407-1408 painting by Spinello Aretino, the fresco in the Affresco camera Pinta in Spoleto, Italy, and the manuscript "La prima deca" by Tito Livio dated circa 1373 and nowadays in the Biblioteca Ambrosiana at Milan among others.

It is HANDMADE from 16-gauge mild steel (available in 14-gauge also) lined with a comfortable and secure LEATHER LINER. An approximate circumference of 68 cm makes it fit almost all head sizes. A sturdy chin strap with a brass buckle ensures your helmet stays in place during battles. Note: This product is carefully coated with a layer of oil when packaged that acts as a temporary (protective) layer against corrosion (rust), which can easily be wiped off using any oil remover or even a dry cloth.
